Northwestern TGS Exit Survey

Thank you for taking the time to complete The Graduate School Exit Survey. It will take approximately 10–15 minutes to complete. The survey covers a variety of topics related to your graduate experience and your post graduation plans.

Please note: this survey is intended for graduates of Master's degree programs. If you are a PhD student earning a Master's degree you will be asked to complete a survey upon completion of the PhD degree.

Survey results will be used to make improvements for current and future students and will be compared with other graduates at participating research institutions in the United States.

Please note that if you do not finish your survey in one session, you can log back in and resume the survey from the point where you exited the survey.

Your honest feedback is important to us. Only The Graduate School research staff will have access to the individual data collected in this survey. With the exception of your post graduation placement information (if provided), your responses will not be identified with you personally and will only be used in aggregate.

If you choose to disclose your employment or further education plans, the information will be kept in a separate database, apart from your other responses, to assure confidentiality. Your responses will be combined with graduates from other years to further protect your confidentiality. Responses will not be displayed at the program level unless there are more than three graduates for the combined years.

Please note: If you disclose information regarding harassment, discrimination, or sexual misconduct, that you or another member of the Northwestern community have witnessed or experienced, TGS is obligated to report that information to Northwestern’s Office of Civil Rights and Title IX Compliance (OCR). The OCR will then send an outreach email to the affected person, which will include information about resources and options and an offer to meet with OCR staff.
